A basic-coated surfacing electrode with a weld deposit approximating the composition of a high-speed steel. It deposits uniform finely rippled seams. The slag provides good covering of the seam and deslagging is easy. All the alloying elements are incorporated into the coating. Weld metal recovery with respect to the core wire is about 135%. Highly crack resistant.
For the manufacturer and maintenance of tools such as turning and planning tools, milling cutters, reamer bits, twist, drills and taps where high resistance to wear is required.
