Surfacing fluxes of basic nature developed by WIP, Inc. for AUTOMATIC SUBMERGED ARC WELDING. Through a special manufacturing process, alloying elements, which are normally concluded in special alloy wires, are now instead incorporated into the flux. With those fluxes high speed and economical surfacing and rebuilding jobs through submerged arc welding can be achieved with inexpensive and uncommon special alloy wires are thus avoided. HANDLING PRECAUTIONS: Keep the flux dry. If exposed to moisture, dry at 400° C for 1 hour.
With EMS 1: Rails, railheads switch posts rolling-stock wheels, track wheels, chain rollers, chain studs, track supporting rollers or caterpillar tractors, machines and gear parts, etc.
