A basic coated hydrogen controlled electrode with about 2.5% Nickel. It has low spatter loss and good slag removal. This electrode is specially designed for welding low temperature service steels where good impact properties are required at sub-zero temperature such as – 50C.
Applications and Directions
It is suitable for welding pressure vessels and aluminum killed steels for low temperature service. It is suitable for welding on AC (minimum OCV of 70V) or DC+.
