An austenitic-ferritic electrode with a 25-30% ferrite content. The weld deposit is highly crack-resistant and therefore suitable for difficult to weld steels, for joining dissimilar materials, and also as stress compensating buffer layer on parent metal susceptible to cracking. Good weldability in all positions.
Suitable for joining and surfacing difficult to weld steels (e.g. mild and high-strength alloy steels, carbon steels, high-alloy steels, tool steels, heat treating steels, spring steels, rail steels, manganese hardening steels)
