A low hydrogen hard-surfacing electrode with high deposition rate 190%. Suited for parts subjected to heavy abrasion and metal-to-metal wear with moderate impact. Easy to manipulate in horizontal-vertical positions. The weld deposit can retain its properties at temperatures not exceeding 450 C.
For hardsurfacing crusher parts, refactory press screws, cement press screws, palmnut press screws, etc.
Clean weld area properly before welding. Keep a medium-long arc. Oscillation of he electrode with an amplitude up to 3-4 times the normal diameter, results in very regular and smooth beads. The full properties of the alloy are obtainable in two-layer deposits. If necessary, redry the electrode for at least 1 hour at 300 degrees celsius.
